House Hunt

We've looked at a lot of houses over the last 3 weeks. We closed on our house in South Carolina on Jan. 12th, so we have been in house hunting mode up here since then. This is the one we are most serious about. It is in West Lebanon on a very nice old fashioned street. Here is a picture and their description:

Newly finished hardwood floors, brick hearth with wood stove, gas fireplace, original varnished wood moldings, new kitchen counters. Owner offering:300 Gal prepaid fuel oil, 1+ cord wood and one Professional yard spruce-up in the spring ".

There is another house in Enfied we are also interested in. It is still being built and is on 2 acres near a beautiful lake. Problem is it is farther away. Not terrible - it would be about 30 minutes to work for me, but its just farther from everything. We're a little leery of that after our experience in Fairview, TN (loved the house but quicky tired of the drive).
