Farmer's Diner

We went over to Queechee, VT for breakfast this morning. From Hanover, Queechee is west on US 4, about 20 minutes away. We ate at the Farmer's Diner. It was ok - nothing to rave about, but it was a nice Saturday morning drive. We drove through Qeechee and back home. Still quite a bit of snow left, but the days in the 40s and 50s is melting it.

I took the dogs for a hike near where we are going to live in West Lebanon, NH. There are lots of trails within walking distance of the house. Have to do some climbing to get there, but its going to be great to have hiking so close!

A Drive in the Country

On Sunday we took a drive over to Royalton, Vermont. We thought we ate there when we came up for vacation one time when we lived on Long Island. After some searching we found the place - The Sugar House. This place has pancakes the size of a hub cap!!

After we ate we drove up Route 110 to Tunbridge. This Covered Bridge was along the way:



It was nice to get and enjoy a little of why we moved up here. We haven't done much of it so far. It's really beautiful up here.
