The Mailbox Lives... So Far...

The Mailbox wasn't wiped out by our big storm last Wednesday. We got around 2 feet of snow within 24 hours. It was enough to close CRREL, where I work. Someone at work said that CRREL hasn't closed for snow more than 3 times in the last 30 years! After all, it is the Army Corps Cold Regions Research and Engineering Lab!

It was nice and sunny out yesterday. I spent part of the afternoon trying to shovel the edges of the driveway and knock down the pile of snow created by the guy that plows our driveway. its up to the level of my head already! This picture is from the top of the snow pile.
